Now into my second year of Project 365, well 366 because 2012 is a leap year after all, I am keeping up the agreement I once made with myself to take a photo each and every day and blog it. I am not too sure if i'll be able to give up this agreement because the outcome of these Project's is simply rewarding.

Day 219 - Writing
Enjoyed a meeting tonight at Koko Black with Amelia about organising the 2013 Australian Multiple Birth National Convention. There is a vast variety of delicious chocolatey goodness on the menu, it was really hard to choose.
To inject a little inspiration into my blog this month, I have decided to play along with the challenge presented on Fat Mum Slim's blog (www.fatmumslim.com.au) and for today the theme was Day 6 - Writing

Day 211 - My love affair will Bill continues
Tonight, I felt like baking, so we whipped up Bill Granger's Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding - boy wasn't it delicious. Find the recipe here http://www.lifestylefood.com.au/recipes/34/chocolate-selfsaucing-pudding. It was a very simple and easy recipe with very decadent results. Somehow Shane ate 2 - I am not sure I could have actually finished one, but like he said - he would hate to have seen one go to waste.

Day 99 - Happy Easter!
We started off our day with an Easter egg hunt at Jenny and Sam's place. The kids looked for eggs which the Easter bunnies strategically hid in the backyard. The girls happily found eggs along with their cousins Austin, Andrew and Madison and filled our basket full of chocolate goodness from the Easter Bunny. We followed the hunt with a beautiful bacon and egg breakfast cooked by Shane and Sam.
The girls certainly enjoyed plenty of chocolate today and with the bags full they received from family, they are going to enjoy it for a long time to come!

Day 54 - Currency
So it has been a busy time trying to toilet train the girls at the moment. Quite frustrating at times when they don't want to sit on the toilet. When discussing this with some wise people, they reminded me of currency. Not the money currency, but rather the girls currency - bribery. So each time they do something on the toilet they either get an M & M or a squinky. We discovered squinkies from the Hackney girls and Olivia and Ava love them. I thought I would mind giving the girls chocolate at 7:30am - but if it means sitting on the toilet without a fuss - so be it!

Day 7 - Homemade Ice cream
After I got my beautiful Kitchen Aid for Christmas, I discovered that you can get many attachments for it. We purchased an Ice cream attachment from Amazon not long after Christmas. It arrived on Thursday and if I could have used it straight away, I would have. The freezer pot had to be frozen for 15 hours. So I had to be patient.
Today while having a quiet day at home, we made Chocolate mud ice cream (you can find the recipe here). It was quite simple and the sample we had from the beaters was quite delicious. It is certainly going to make the first night of no dummies a little easier.
