Now into my second year of Project 365, well 366 because 2012 is a leap year after all, I am keeping up the agreement I once made with myself to take a photo each and every day and blog it. I am not too sure if i'll be able to give up this agreement because the outcome of these Project's is simply rewarding.

Day 189 - Productive Day
I have set myself a very long list of things to do these holidays. With Ava still unwell, a pyjama day was necessary. Olivia and Ava happily played while I had a very productive day finishing 2 skirts, a quilt face and preparing for another to be sewn together. I find that when the sewing machine comes out I really must get as much done as I can because it does not get out as often as i'd like.
I know the girls are going to love their skirts, will just have to start on the next couple - they'll be ready for Spring, I hope.

Day 75 - New skirts please
We have a few new fabrics in our collection for which Olivia and Ava would like me to make them some new skirts so they can spin around and around in. At least that is what they tell me. We picked these 2 fabrics at Spotlight not long ago and I couldn't have 2 vastly different patterns. Fun and bright purple polka dots and this pretty and girlie flowers. These will be added on to my holiday to do list. It appears I am going to be very busy these school holidays.

Day 27 - Sewing Sally
Thanks to Carlyn teaching me some tricks of the trade I made the girls a skirt and some hairclips while on holidays. I have now a to do list, including making them another skirt which is already cut out and ready to go, to get this craft going again.
Today's photo is before the girls wore their skirts and hairclips for the first time. They loved twirling around in their skirts and it is one of the first times I have dressed them in nearly the same clothes. I can see we are entering a new and scary era of dressing alike. I had better get busy making some skirts so we can mix and match!
