Now into my second year of Project 365, well 366 because 2012 is a leap year after all, I am keeping up the agreement I once made with myself to take a photo each and every day and blog it. I am not too sure if i'll be able to give up this agreement because the outcome of these Project's is simply rewarding.

Day 272 - Wet and Fun Friday!
Today Isabel came over for a play with the girls. We had talked at school about her wish to come play with the girls, why not make this plan on a wet and rainy day. The girls played happily together in their room, we had lunch, made cupcakes and did a little bit of cleaning up as well. Olivia and Ava enjoyed Isabel coming over for a play and so did I!

Day 184 - A day at home
The first day of holidays! It was just lovely not to go rushing off to work and to spend time with the girls doing a few odd jobs here and there. We enjoyed building towers, tickle mosters and just playing with no distractions. It was the perfect day to stay indoors as well, even with my cheeky children.

Day 75 - New skirts please
We have a few new fabrics in our collection for which Olivia and Ava would like me to make them some new skirts so they can spin around and around in. At least that is what they tell me. We picked these 2 fabrics at Spotlight not long ago and I couldn't have 2 vastly different patterns. Fun and bright purple polka dots and this pretty and girlie flowers. These will be added on to my holiday to do list. It appears I am going to be very busy these school holidays.

Day 14 - We're going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...
Today marked the first day of our holidays. We packed up the car and headed off for our holiday accompanied for the weekend with Jenny, Sam, Austin, Andrew and Madison. Our first stop was Malua Bay, unfortunately the weather wasn't beach weather so we changed direction and headed for Mogo Zoo.
Mogo Zoo is a beautiful zoo which we have visited on a number of occasions. The girls loved roaming around looking at the animals. Jenny fed the deer and the kids loved watching the monkey's running around. Of course my favourite were the giraffes, I thought this was a rather cute picture with the baby giraffe sitting down and the male giraffe toying with the crowd.

Day 13 - Bags packed and ready to go!
We packed our bags tonight ready for our 2 week holiday.
As per usual I wrote a list of everything I think we need to take along with us, I am always forgetting something at home. This time, I am hoping I forget nothing. After the week of the craziest Summer weather, I have packed warmer clothes of course.
I am really looking forward to our holiday. It has been a long time coming. We will spend 1 week at Malua Bay, right along the beach. Dreamy really. The next week will be spent visiting only the loveliest of friends along the way back home ready just in time to start work.
